The Teachers Winning 2019 China Industry-University-Research Institute Collaboration Promotion Award

    (Reported by Gong Bin) On Dec. 30, 2019, it was learnt from 13^th China Industry-University-Research Collaboration Innovation Conference that CUG won 2019 China Industry-University-Research Collaboration Promotion Award. The representatives of this school were invited to attend the conference and granted the inscribed tablet and the certificate.  

    The award application was led by Teacher Xiang Dongwen and Gong Bin based on the successfully implemented typical cases such as the comprehensive management of Lingshan Mountain Mine in Jiangxia District, and finally, this program won the award after half a year through examination, announcement and final examination by the expert group of China Industry-University-Research Collaboration Promotion Association.   

　　For years, based on the advantageous resources of CUG, this school has made every effort to developing the discipline of environmental design, actively participated in the research topics in ecological restoration and landscape design of the territorial space. With respect to the ecological restoration of the mine, environmental improvement, industry transformation planning and landscape reconstruction design, it has explored the construction path of the ecological civilization in a new era and formed the innovation experience. Among them, the comprehensive improvement project of Lingshan Mine in Jiangxia District has effectively implemented the composite mode of “environmental improvement, ecological restoration and landscape reconstruction” from the conceptual planning, implementation scheme and engineering design in the past two years and has been successfully selected as the pilot point of industrial and miming wasteland reclamation and utilization left over from the history in Hubei Province. The successful experience has been popularized in the similar projects such as Jiangjunshan Mine in Jiangxia District.   

　　At present, China Industry-University-Research Collaboration Promotion Award is the highest honorary award for the industry-university-research collaboration promotion in China, which is approved by Ministry of Science and Technology and National Office for Science and Technology Awards, supported by 24 authoritative departments including National Development and Reform Commission, established and awarded by China Industry-University-Research Collaboration Promotion Association. This award includes six kinds of prizes such as the outstanding contribution prize for industry-university-research collaboration, promotion prize for     industry-university-research collaboration, innovative accomplishment prize for industry-university-research collaboration, civil-military integration prize for industry-university-research collaboration and craftsman’s spirit prize for industry-university-research collaboration.
