Yu Lei, male, born in September 1977, Party member, vocal music teacher in Music Department, School of Arts and Communication, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), member of Hubei Musicians Association, and member of Hubei Western Returned Scholars Association. In 2001, he graduated from Music Education School, Wuhan Conservatory Of Music; in 2004, he was sent by the Ministry of Education to study for a master's degree in vocal music education and performance at Gnessin State Musical College and received the master degree.

Vocal major course, Chorus and Conducting, Chorus Rehearsal, Appreciation of Vocal Works, Appreciation of Film and Television Music Works


Main achievements:

In May 2005, he participated in the “Concert Celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Victory of the World War II” in Moscow, and was cordially received by General Secretary Hu Jintao;

In February 2006, he participated in the performance of Tchaikovsky opera “Eugene Onegin” in Moscow, playing “Triquet”;

In June 2006, he participated in the recording of CCTV series “Rediscovering the Yangtze River” in Moscow;

In December 2006, he performed in Verdi’s opera “Camellia” in Moscow, playing the hero “Alfred”;

In April 2007, he held a solo concert at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Russia;

In May 2008, “Yu Lei Solo Concert” was held in Chime Hall of Wuhan Conservatory of Music;

n September 2009, he was awarded the title of excellent guide teacher of the national education system’s “Long Live Motherland” singing contest, which was jointly sponsored by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, National Civilization Office, Ministry of education, and Ministry of Culture;

In February 2011, he was appointed by State Han Ban to conduct art and cultural exchanges and performances in New York, Washington, D.C;

In February 2012, he was appointed by State Han Ban to conduct art and cultural exchanges and performances in Southeast Asia and other places;

Since 2014, he has been the conductor of the Stars chorus of the School of Arts and Communication;

He has published papers in Huangzhong, Art Education, National Music and other core journals, and compiled and published the textbook Choral course of China National Music.
