Music Performance Shen Chen

Shen Chen, female, master of piano performance, Boston University, USA, has been teaching in the School of Arts and Communication, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) since April 2015.

She graduated from the Music Department of East China Normal University in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in Music Education (piano), learning from Professor Hou Runyu, chief conductor of Shanghai Symphony Orchestra and doctor of Cologne Conservatory of Music, Germany. As a result of excellent undergraduate professional performance, she was recommended by the university for interview in the United States, and was admitted by Boston University, and San Francisco Conservatory of music, Syracuse University and California Institute of Arts with full scholarship at the same time.

In 2013, she graduate from College of Fine Arts-Boston University, with Master of Piano Performance. Her teacher is professor Michael lewin, an American pianist and music educator, Ph.D. of piano at The Juilliard School.

 

In September 2011, guest of the Chinese Mid Autumn Festival Party in Greater Boston Area;

In December 2011, individual concert held in Harvard University;

In January 2012, the performance guest of the Spring Festival Gala in New York Area;

In March 2012, chamber concert in New York University;

n April 2012, concerts with Boston University Symphony Orchestra in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles;

In January 2014, individual concert held in the Chinese University of Hong Kong

In March 2014, as an outstanding alumni of Boston University, she was invited to participate in the Boston University Asian Alumni Association and served as the performance guest in the Great Hall of the People;

In April 2014, she went to Thailand with the Boston University Symphony Orchestra and held a concert at Bangkok University

In May 2014, individual concert held in the National University of Singapore.
