Design Science Zhang Ziying

Zhang Ziying, female, born in 1985, native of Changsha, Hunan Province. In 2009, she graduated from Central Academy of Fine Arts with a bachelor's degree in visual communication; in 2015, she graduated from Hunan Normal University with a master's degree in visual communication. Since 2015, she has been a teacher in visual communication of School of Arts and Communication, China University of Geosciences.

Field of research: Font design, brand design, intelligent interaction design.

Selected achievements:

1. Participated in the design of postage map for the year of the dragon of State Post Bureau in 2012

2. Participated in the overall visual image design of 2013 "Spring Festival Gala of Confucius Institute – The Spring of Sino Russian Friendship";

3. Participated in the design of image recognition system for Hunan Education TV Station in 2013;

4. Responsible for the design of high-end customized gift for ZOOMLION in 2013;

5. Participated in the overall visual image design of the 2013 International Writing Art Exhibition, and her works Wan Xiang, Shan Yun and Mo Jing Tai were selected into the Vientiane International Writing Art Exhibition in South Korea;

6. The work "Xian Ge" won the excellent award of Hiii Typograpgythe Third Chinese and English Font Design Competition in 2016;

7. From 2013 to 2015, she participated in the art research project supported by National Social Science Fund of China: “Research on the evolution of Chinese character font design”;

8. From 2016 to 2017, she presided over the project supported by the excellent young teachers fund for central universities: “Research on aesthetic characteristics of Song typeface characters”;

9. In 2018, she directed Zhou Yingge to participate in the "2018 Joint Exhibition of Excellent Graduation Works of Design Major (undergraduate) in Universities of Wuhan" and won the excellent award;

10. In 2018, under her direction, the students Weng Chengxu and Zhou Yingge participated in the Times Young Creative Awards with their work “New 24 Stories about Filial Piety” and won the excellent award.
