Chi Yi graduated from Hubei Institute of Fine Arts in 1995, was a public visiting scholar of Surikov Institute of Fine Arts in 2004, is now an associate professor of School of Arts and Communication, China University of Geosciences, member of Wuhan Western Returned Scholars Association and Jiusan Society.
