Electronic Music Zhou Li

 

 

Zhou Li, female, deputy professor and master supervisor of the Department of Electronic Music, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), director of Electronic Music Society of Chinese Musicians’ Association, once served as the director of the Music Department and the deputy dean of the School of Arts and Communication. In 2008, she was awarded the “top ten outstanding youth of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan)”. She graduated from Wuhan Conservatory of Music with a bachelor's degree and graduated from the Department of Arts, Wuhan University with a master's degree, and visited and studied computer music production at Central Conservatory of Music for one year in 2006 and in the music technology center of Georgia Institute of Technology for two years from 2013 to 2015.

 

Field of research:

Sound design, audio and video interaction, music robot, intelligent composition, music emotion calculation, music communication.

 

Teaching work:

She offers Film and Television Music, Musical Acoustics and Introduction to Music for undergraduates, and Sound Design for graduate students. She has presided over and completed 1 provincial teaching research project and participated in and completed 2 provincial teaching research projects. In 2006, the teaching research paper “Training mode of the compound talents of music major” won the first prize of “Excellent Art Education Research Paper” of Hubei Province; in 2011, the teaching research paper “Style features of the original ecological folk songs in Western Hubei” won the second prize of “Excellent Art Education Research Paper” of Hubei Province. In 2012, she published the Basic Course of Solfeggio and Ear Training (No: ISBN 9787216072878) as the second author .

Honors and awards:

1. In 2010, the original musical drama Snow Lotus Blossom co-edited and directed by her won the “Excellent Drama Award” of the professional group in the Second National Campus Drama Festival sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Education.

2. In 2009, the dance Spring to Petrified Forest co-directed by her won the third prize of performance group A in the Second National University Students Arts Festival sponsored by the Ministry of Education, and she was awarded the “Excellent Instructor”.
