Design Science: Chen Kunlun

Chen Kunlun (1982- ), male, born in Jingmen, Hubei Province, PhD, professor, doctoral supervisor, has focused on teaching, research and practice in sports geography and outdoor resource survey and planning in recent years. He has published more than 80 academic papers and 4 textbooks/monographs, presided over multiple scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Philosophy and Social Science Program of the Ministry of Education, the Social Science Fund of Hubei Province, the Natural Science Foundation of Hubei Province, and the Dawnlight Program of Hubei Province, as well as multiple social practice projects in outdoor resource investigation and planning, ecological restoration planning, and engineering design. He has completed the domestic first county-level outdoor sports resource survey and county-level outdoor sports development plan in Guanyang, Guangxi, and incorporated outdoor elements into ecological restoration planning and design in Shishou, Hubei to help realize ecological value conversion, providing strong support for rural revitalization, ecological civilization construction and high-quality local economic and social development.
