Peng Jing, female, native of Wuhan City, Hubei Province

Master of Fine Arts, PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering, China University of Geosciences.

Professor, doctoral supervisor and deputy dean of the School of Arts and Communication, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan).

 

Research fieldsenvironmental design, public art design, landscape design

 

Main achievements:

She has presided over the art programs supported by the National Social Science Fund of China, presided over the creation and planning of the large-scale ink mural “Preface to the Yangtze River” at the Changjiang Civilization Museum in Wuhan, created the rock mosaic mural “Cloud and Water Ballad” in the Taiwan Garden of Wuhan Garden Expo, presided over the MOOC project of Chinese universities on “Traditional Chinese Painting and Aesthetics”, published several papers in core journals, and has published several art works in the core art journals of Fine Arts, Hundred Schools in Arts, and National Arts. Her work “In and Out” won the “Best Work Award” in the installation category of the “12th International Contemporary Art Biennial of Florence”. She has held individual works exhibitions for many times, and many mainstream official media and institutions have reported extensively on her artistic creations and achievements, with broad social influence and good social evaluation.
