Participants unanimously agreed that General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection systematically summarized the new progress and results achieved in the strict self-governance in every aspect of the Party, profoundly elaborated on the important idea of self-revolution of the Party, scientifically answered the major questions such as “why self-revolution is necessary”, “why self-revolution is possible”, and “how to promote the self-revolution”, clearly put forward the “nine requirements” on practice, and made a strategic plan for the sustained and deepening promotion of the fight against corruption, which is of strong political, ideological and guiding significance, and is a fundamental guideline for the new era and new journey to promote the overall strict self-governance in every aspect of the Party and to promote Party conduct and build clean government.
