Teachers and Students of This School Participated in the 2023 Jiang’an Talent Youth Market

On the afternoon of November 10, in order to deeply implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the talent work and youth work in the new era, actively build a platform for innovation and entrepreneurship and cultural exchanges among young talents, and strengthen the cooperation between university and enterprises, Prof. He Qingjun, dean of the School of Arts and Communication, Zeng Gohui, counselor of the Student Affairs Leading Group, and student representatives of the School went to the Lihuangpi Road Pedestrian Mall, a Historical and Cultural Block in Hankou, to participate in the 2023 Jiang’an Talent Youth Market and the Unveiling Ceremony of the Digital Culture Talent Innovation Base.

This event fully leveraged the advantages of the Lihuangpi Road national tourism and leisure block and integrated the innovative and entrepreneurial resources of the jurisdiction and universities in Wuhan to assist young talents in innovation and entrepreneurship by creating new carriers of digital cultural activities, exploring new scenes of digital cultural consumption, developing new business mode of “cultural tourism+” block integration, and innovating the new mode of integrating online and offline digital culture industry development.

Our students exhibited individual and team art and design products, cultural and creative works, hand-painted crafts, etc. at the market event, showcasing the original design works and digital cultural innovation achievements of young talents.

The talent youth market event will be held from November 10th to 12th, lasting for three days. In addition to the exhibition and sales of design works, there will also be on-site performances by young inheritors of intangible cultural heritage such as ceramics, fabric art, and lacquer art.
