(Reported by Yu Menghan) At 15:30 on November 4, 2023, teachers and students from the School of Arts and Communication went to the Lihuangpi Road Cultural and Creative Block in Jiang’an District to pay a visit to enterprises for employment promotion. Jin Xi, secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Arts and Communication, Shen Bo, deputy director of the Employment Office, Liu Zhixing from the Career Guidance Center, Counselor Chen Xiliang, and a total of 12 undergraduate and postgraduate students participated in this event.
Firstly, Chen Xia, General Manager of Pegasus Digital Talent Innovation Base in the Cultural and Creative Block, introduced the basic situation and development plan of the base to teachers and students based on her personal work experience and the development process of the base. Ms. Chen introduced from five aspects, namely industry positioning, base introduction, service capabilities, exhibition platform and development planning. After introducing the supporting facilities and investment cases of the base in detail, she further introduced the development plan of the base, expecting to establish in-depth communication and cooperation with our School, establish training and practice base and achieve university-enterprise cooperation.
Then, she invited two outstanding entrepreneurial youth representatives of the base, Fei Tianyu and Li Haijun, to share their entrepreneurial stories with the teachers and students present. By sharing their practical entrepreneurial experiences, the two representatives provided students with knowledge on the risks they may encounter in the entrepreneurial process, while also imparting avoidance experiences.
Finally, the students visited some of the live streaming rooms and studios of the base in an orderly manner to experience the work content and environment of entrepreneurs up close. Secretary Jin and Manager Chen had further detailed discussions on the current development status of the base and future expectations of school-enterprise cooperation.
This visit helped the students understand the development of cultural and creative enterprises on Lihuangpi Road, further clarify the process of entrepreneurship, and sort out a clearer career plan. In addition, it also deepened the communication and cooperation between the School and the Lihuangpi Road Digital Talent Innovation Base, so as to jointly build a new platform for talent cultivation.
