Affected by the cold air, Wuhan will experience continuous strong winds and rainfall in the coming three days. As the cold current is approaching, the School strictly implemented the safety regulations of the University. All full-time and part-time counselors and student cadres of the Student Affairs Leading Group visited the student dormitories on the afternoon of November 5th under the leadership of Bian Jianhua, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, and sent care and warmth to the students.
During the visit, Secretary Bian and all full-time and part-time counselors exchanged information with students about their recent study and life in the dormitory, especially reminding them of the recent big changes in temperature, and asked if they had enough cotton clothes and bedding, and advised everyone to pay attention to keep warm, pay attention to the water and electricity safety in dormitory as well as the safety when going out.
This visit further deepened the connection between teachers and students, so that the students felt the care from the counselors and teachers, enhanced emotional communication between teachers and students, improved students’ daily safety awareness, created a positive and upward dormitory atmosphere, and jointly built an indestructible “insulation belt” before the arrival of winter.
