In order to promote international exchanges between Chinese and Korean doctoral students and to enhance their academic research capabilities, this University, with the theme of “Art and Design”, will hold the “First Sino-Korean International Academic Conference on ‘Art and Design’ for Doctoral Students, 2023” on Oct. 23, 2023 (Monday) at 1104 Academic Lecture Hall of the School of Arts and Communication together with Korea Anyang University and Qingdao Huanghai University. The topics of presentations will focus on “art”, “history”, “design” and “aesthetic education”.
He Qingjun, dean of the School of Arts and Communication, will be the academic host for the first half of the third session on “Design”, and our postdoctoral fellow Feng Huichao, doctoral student Zhu Tianjian, and doctoral student Hu Lisha will participate in this exchange activity as guest speakers. In addition, at this academic conference, there will also be scholars from many famous universities at home and abroad, such as Korea Anyang University, China Academy of Art, Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, etc. to carry out exchanges on topics such as “Research on the edification function of the gatehouse of Chaoshan residential buildings”, and “Study on the phenomenon of left lapel in Han women’s clothing in the middle and late Ming Dynasty”.
