In order to fully implement the decisions and deployment of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on the employment of college graduates, implement the theme-focused education to review and rectify the problems, and effectively do a good job in the employment of the graduates of the School of Arts and Communication in 2024, and help students to comprehensively analyze the employment situation, establish correct career selection and positive employment views and fully prepare for employment, the School held three employment promotion seminars in Room 1104 of the school building for different majors from September 21 to 22. Bian Jianhua, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the School, Shan Tianyi, a graduate counselor, Chen Xiliang, a counselor of Grade 2020, part-time counselors including Yang Ying, Yu Menghan and Xu Wenqian, and all graduates in 2024 attended this meeting.
First, the graduate counselor Shan Tianyi gave a lecture on employment related knowledge and work. Miss Shan gave a comprehensive and in-depth explanation to the graduates around four aspects, namely, employment knowledge, information collection and management, employment situation analysis, and requirements of employment work. She also introduced the electronic signing system, employment recommendation form, and signing process. At the same time, based on the employment situation of the school in recent years, she launched a mobilization and hoped that students could grasp the changes in the employment situation in a timely manner, establish correct goals, and enhance employment confidence.
Then, Mr. Chen called on the students to take advantage of the fall recruitment opportunities. He offered advice on resume content for the students to graduate in 2024, encouraging them to go out and take actions to get the offer.
Finally, Bian Jianhua, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the School, summarized the September Employment Promotion Meeting. He reminded the students to attach great importance to employment, and put forward further requirements from four aspects, including shaping a good outlook on employment, making excellent resumes, grasping the golden period of fall recruitment and recognizing employment information, and encouraged them to actively seek guidance and participate in employment activities.
