“Red flag is in my heart on my way forging ahead”. On July 11, the long-prepared Art Camp Performance came to the final rehearsal stage. In order to present the best program, the volunteers are making the final preparations in a tight schedule. For fan dance, choir, art model show, and poetry recitation, etc., the volunteer teachers led the children in their respective classes to familiarize themselves with the movements, confirm the dance steps, and adjust the lines sentence by sentence according to the previous division of labor arrangement. Their efforts and careful deliberation are only to bring the most wonderful visual experience to the audience.

Reflections on Teaching:
This rehearsal experience gave me many valuable insights and experiences. Although there were hiccups in the process, it made me realize the power of teamwork. Although the rehearsal process was hard, it was also a process of growing, learning, and exploring with the children. I will keep a positive attitude, believe in myself and my team’s ability, and believe that we will be able to present a wonderful performance after preparation and hard work.

Today is the eighth day of volunteer teaching, and our teaching task has entered a key stage. In the morning, we continued to rehearse the song “Country” to help students become more familiar with the melody of the song and the movements of the choir. The students were instructed on how to sing correctly, how to match their movements and tried their best to show their best. In the afternoon, the rehearsal and stage walk of the performance took place, which was an important part of the whole event. However, due to the short rehearsal time of the program, the details still need to be improved. No matter how well the program is presented, our teaching journey will always be engraved in the hearts of students, and this experience will become a valuable asset on their growth path. We feel honored and happy to participate in the teaching activities and bring warmth and hope to these lovely children.

Today is an unusual day for me, and it is also my first time playing the role of host. Therefore, it is very impressive and unforgettable for me and I have learned a lot from it. At first, I was a bit nervous. Later on, I slowly wrote the hosting draft and understood the process. Gradually, I gained confidence and dared to express myself on stage. My onsite control ability was strengthened, and I also learned the power of the collective through work division and cooperation with other hosts. I hope the formal hosting and event tomorrow will be a complete success.

Looking back on today’s journey, it was indeed a fortunate encounter. They are laughing, they are energetic, and they are playing, which is the best appearance of “children”. During the rehearsal, the children, who have always been particularly mischievous, performed very well today. Under the leadership of Secretary Bian, Miss Shan, Miss Zeng, and the leaders of the programs, they not only followed the instructions, but also performed very well. What touched me the most today was the program “Country”, and the children who performed this program sang very loudly and moved neatly. I am proud because I have chosen to teach here as a volunteer; I am proud because the children have gained growth from us.
