At 14:30 on August 10, the promotion meeting for self-assessment of undergraduate programs was held in Room 114 of the North Complex Building. Dean He Qingjun, Deputy Dean Zhang Meizhen, Deputy Dean Yang Zhe, Deputy Dean Peng Jing, Deputy Dean Yuan Yue, and heads of the tertiary units guided the assessment work as members of the teaching steering committee. At the meeting, teachers from different programs reported on their self-evaluation reports and the teaching steering committee of the School provided guidance and suggestions to promote the successful completion of the assessment work. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Dean Yang Zhe.
Firstly, teachers from all tertiary units wrote and organized self-assessment reports based on the basic schooling status data of the program and the assessment indexes. At the meeting, they elaborated on the schooling concept of the program and summarized the program construction characteristics. Each program conducted self-assessment based on the construction situation, formed self-assessment conclusions and made detailed reports, and sorted out the problems and asked for advice.
Secondly, the teaching steering committee of the School also answered the questions and provided guidance and corrective measures for the report contents and self-assessment report materials of each program. For the self-assessment construction quality indicators of each program, they checked and verified one by one and put forward suggestions for modification.
Finally, Dean He Qingjun emphasized that all tertiary units should further improve their materials based on the opinions of the teaching steering committee, and complete self-inspection and self-correction during the self-assessment stage of the School.
Deputy Dean Zhang Meizhen provided specific guidance and modifications based on the self-assessment indicators for each tertiary unit.
Deputy Dean Yang Zhe finally stated that each unit should continue to organize self-assessment materials and further improve and modify them according to the opinions of the Teaching Steering Committee.
