At 10:00 on June 19, the press conference and launching ceremony of the 1st Jing-Chu “Yangtze River Cup” College Student Video Creation Competition, titled “I dedicate my youth to building a strong power”, was held in China University of Geosciences (Wuhan).

The creative competition was launched on June 19 and will end with an award ceremony on November 21, including two stages: the preliminary round and the final round.
In the preliminary round, 150 works will be selected by online voting from the registered works, and then 30 works (creative units) will be selected to enter the final round by a combination of online voting and expert evaluation. The creative teams of 30 works in the final round will receive a “Creative Fund” of RMB 10,000 Yuan provided by the committee, and the themes will be determined from 30 special topics for creative shooting by drawing lots through “Ji Chu Yun” WeChat app, and the organizing committee will organize a team of mentors to provide professional guidance to each team for shooting and production. Through online public voting and expert selection, the creation videos will be comprehensively rated; ten best works, ten excellent works, ten good works, as well as six individual awards, including Best Director, Best Photography, Best Creativity, Best Packaging, Best Copywriting and Maximum Flow, as well as Excellent Organization Award, will be ultimately selected.
The award ceremony will be held on World Television Day on November 21st, during which all awards will be announced and certificates of honor and trophies will be presented.
