On the afternoon of June 15, 2023, the Party Committee of the School of Arts and Communication held a conference for all student party members at the Concert Hall of North Area, which emphasized the theme-focused education study and led students to study the Party Constitution to be qualified party members. All student members and party activists of the School attended this conference, with Party Secretary Jin Xi and Deputy Party Secretary Bian Jianhua attending.
“It is my will to join the Communist Party of China……” In the loud reading of oath of admission, the conference for all student party members kicked off, and Bian Jianhua, deputy secretary of the Party committee of the School, taught a party class with the theme of “study the party constitution, understand Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and be a qualified party member” for the participating students.
Secretary Bian led everyone to study the spirit of the 20th National Congress of CPC and the main contents of Party self-governance from four aspects respectively, including Party self-governance in every respect, the reason for Party self-governance in every respect, studying the rights and obligations of Party members in the Party Constitution, and how to be a qualified student Party member/party activist.

It is reported that the Party Committee of the School of Arts and Communication has taken various measures to strengthen the construction of Party organizations in the School and promote the standardization of party branches. It promotes the deepening reform of the Party Building Office to achieve self-management service education and assessment for 300 Party members in five departments; establishes the instructor system for Party branches to guide the standardization of branch work; implements the system of regular party building meetings, with a regular meeting every two weeks, focusing on summarizing the preliminary work and arranging follow-up work for centralized training; develops the “Party Member Sinking Class System”, introduces the “Service Duration”, and organizes Party members and activists to actively participate in various learning and practical activities; develops a project approval system, organizes the Party Building Office, Party branches, and individual Party members to carry out project system construction, and carries out various projects in a planned manner; creates the “Party Building Cultural Festival” and “Art Party Class” brands to form the “Art+” Party building characteristic achievements.
