Faculty Party Branches of This School Carry Out Theme Party Day Activities in May

On May 25, the five faculty Party branches of this School carried out party theme day activities with the theme of “Studying and implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China - Solidly carry out the work of the Party Congress and promote the theme-focused education to go deep and practical”. According to the requirements of the “Notice on Carrying out the Branch Theme Party Day Activities in May 2023”, each faculty branch, in combination with its actual situation, carried out centralized studying through PPT live lead study, watching videos, free speech discussion, political birthday and other ways.

All party members first studied the Implementation Plan for Deepening the Study and Implementation of the Theme-Focused Education on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era of the School and University, the reply letter from General Secretary Xi Jinping to the students of the Science and Technology Backyard of China Agricultural University, and Xi Jinping’s letter of encouragement to the teachers and students of Macau University of Science and Technology. Through the study, each party branch said that they should focus on the central task of discipline construction and talent training to deeply implement the work plan of theme-focused education, thoroughly investigate and address deficiencies, focus on solving the urgent and difficult problems faced by teachers and students, carry out rectification and rectification of prominent problems, effectively do practical things for teachers and students, and build a new pattern of high-quality development for the School.

The Party branches also studied the relevant work regulations for the change of grass-root Party organization. By studying the notification documents for the election of party representatives for the 13th Party Congress and the recommendation and nomination of candidates for the “Two Committees”, everyone felt the democracy and discipline within the party. The comrades who participated in the study said that they would strictly follow the unified deployment of the party committee of university and School and the process of electing party representatives, strictly adhere to work discipline, fully promote democracy, correctly exercise the rights of party members, and conscientiously carry out this work.
