Massed Learning of Theoretical Study Central Group of the Party Committee in April

(Reported by Li Congcong) At 2:30 p.m. on April 24, 2023, the Theoretical Learning Central Group of the Party Committee of this School carried out massed learning in Conference Room 1209 of the School. All members of the leadership team of the School, members of the Party Committee, all staff party branch secretaries and counselors attended the study, which was hosted by Guo Xiurong, secretary of the Party Committee.

Secretary Guo firstly conveyed the notice requirements of the University on 2023 Secrecy Promotion and Education Month Campaign to all members of the group, introducing the secrecy promotion and education program of the school with the theme of “building a solid defense line to protect national security”, and leading the members to watch the secrecy education micro video. From Qian Xuesen’s red secrecy practice to Academician Huang Xuhua’s engagement in lofty and earthly affairs incognito, from college part-time job event to “sober dating” event, a series of vivid cases remind us that any carelessness may result in leaks around us. We should maintain a high level of political sensitivity and vigilance, tighten the strings of secrecy, enhance security awareness, improve secrecy capabilities, and safeguard the security of our country.

Then Secretary Guo led everyone to study the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the education campaign conference and the guidance on the implementation of various tasks of education campaign from the tour guidance group for education campaign in colleges and universities directly under the Ministry of Education, and on this occasion, everyone also studied the “Guidance of the CPC Party Group of the Ministry of Education on the Education Campaign of In-Depth Study and Implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era in Colleges and Universities Directly under the Ministry of Education”. She stressed that all members of the leadership team should further study Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, consolidate theoretical arms, conduct in-depth research among teachers and students, devote themselves to practical work and seek practical solutions, and solve the urgent and difficult problems faced by teachers and students.
