School of Arts and Communication Pays a Visit to Wuhan Creative Capital to Visit Enterprises and Promote Employment

In order to implement the spirit of the “Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Education on the Spring Employment Promotion Action for College Graduates in 2023”, carry out the special action of “Visiting Enterprises to Promote Employment”, and promote the project of “Students Staying in Wuhan”, the School of Arts and Communication of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) paid a visit to Wuhan Creative Capital for the activity of “Enabling a splendent future for Hongshan students”.

At 14:00 on March 16, 2023, the activity of “Enabling a splendent future for Hongshan students”, which was hosted by the Organization Department of Hongshan District Committee and China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), organized by Hongshan Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Supermarket and co-organized by Wuhan Creative Capital, was launched in Wuhan Creative Capital. Guo Xiurong, secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Arts and Communication, Bian Jianhua, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, Ning Wei, director of the Department of Journalism and Communication, Di Cheng, director of the Department of Visual and Media Design, Liu Jun, secretary of the Party Branch of the Department of Visual and Media Design, Shan Tianyi, a counselor, and 54 teachers and students participated in this activity

The first stop was United Art Museum, where the staff gave a guided tour of Wuhan Biennale 2022 “Connected by Art”. Students and teachers listened attentively to the explanation about the relevant contents of the exhibition and discussed the proposition of the relationship between the unity of multiple states and the symbiosis of multiple states, as well as the relationship between human and nature, human and society and other multi-dimensional spaces during the exchange and interaction, which inspired the students and teachers to explore the possibility of integration and symbiosis between different media in their teaching practice.

Afterwards, teachers and students visited Hubei Film and Television Incubation Base, Nanquan Inter Entertainment Culture and Media Co., Ltd and Wuhan Mobile Games Technology Co., Ltd in turn, to visit the office, feel the corporate culture and deeply understand the service scope and job requirements, so that students had a deeper understanding of employment and entrepreneurship. The students said that they would study harder in their future study and life, master the knowledge and skills related to employment and entrepreneurship, and actively participate in social practice to prepare for higher quality and fuller employment and entrepreneurship.

Finally, the teachers and students paid a visit to Hongshan Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Supermarket and held a symposium. Lu Tingyang, deputy secretary of the two working committees of the District Party Committee, Fang Hua, deputy director of the management committee of Hongshan Economic Development Zone, Zhao Xin, director of the talent center of the Organization Department of the District Party Committee, Hu Quan, head of the Talent Development Center of the Human Resources Bureau, Yang Yong of Wuhan Creative Capital, Ji Yun, business principal of Wuhan CASI Inter Entertainment Culture and Media Co., Ltd, Nie Sheng, business principal of Nanquan Inter Entertainment Culture and Media Co., Ltd, and Xu Zhen, business principal of Wuhan Mobile Games Technology Co., Ltd attended the meeting. The participants conducted in-depth exchanges around the basic situation of the park, policies for college students to stay in Wuhan, and the needs for university-enterprise cooperation, and expressed their intention to recruit and introduce more talents and carry out more forms of communication and cooperation.

The visit enabled the students to understand the policy of staying in Wuhan and clarify the policies and regulations related to settling down and receiving personnel files. It has also deepened the exchange and cooperation between Hongshan District and CUG in innovation and entrepreneurship, and promoted the establishment of a new platform for employment and entrepreneurship.
