(Reported by Zhu Huan) On March 7, 2023, the university announced the results of the 2022 Undergraduate Teaching Excellence Award, and Professor Zhang Meizhen was awarded the “Teacher Excellence Award”.
From November 2022 to February 2023, the university organized the application and evaluation of the 2022 undergraduate teaching excellence award. After individual application, school recommendation, preliminary examination by relevant departments, and on-site evaluation by experts, 14 teachers won the “Teacher Excellence Award”, 5 teachers won the “New Talent Excellence Award”, and 1 team won the “Team Excellence Award”.
The undergraduate teaching excellence award is the university’s highest honor for teaching and learning and is awarded every two years. The Teacher Excellence Award aims to recognize and reward key teachers who have devoted themselves to front-line teaching, have built high-quality courses, have outstanding teaching ability, have excellent teaching results, have typical exemplary leadership in love of teaching, devotion to teaching, and study of teaching, and are widely acclaimed for their teaching and education.
