Lai Xulong, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of the University, and teachers and students from relevant functional departments and some school attended the lecture.
This art party lecture is divided into four chapters: “Opening up the world”, “Changing the world”, “Turning the world upside down” and “Shaking the world”. Chen Wenwu, Head of the Organization Department of the Party Committee, Leng Zaixin, Deputy Head of the Organization Department of the Party Committee, Guo Xiurong, Secretary of the Party Committee of School of Arts and Communication, Bian Jianhua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, and Zhou Li, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Department of Music served as lecturers. With the centennial history of the Party as the main threads the red classic background stories at the critical historical juncture as the latitude, they presented the red spirit and Chinese power gathered by the Party during its century-long journey through various artistic forms such as scene performance, chorus, dance, instrumental performance and recitation to inspire teachers and students to forge ahead in the new era.
In the four chapters, the connotation of the four historical stages of the new democratic revolution, the socialist revolution and construction, the reform and opening up, the socialist modernization and the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics were presented in an artistic way. “The Three Rules of Disciplines and Eight Points for Attention” and “Ten Farewell to Red Army” showed teachers and students the significant historical events such as the convening of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Long March of the Red Army. The songs such as “No Communist Party, No the New China” and “I Love You China” ignited the patriotic hearts of teachers and students on the scene. The dance “Brighter Party Flag” and the dragon dance “Welcome to Beijing” attracted applause from the audience. Performances such as “People First”, “China in the Light”, and “Wanjiang” demonstrated the firm belief of teachers and students that they will never forget their original intention and mission. The song "Pilots" sang the strong voice of faith that transcended time and space and the original mission of the Communists.
The art party lecture ended in the chorus of “My Motherland and Me”. From the connotation of the times contained in the song to the party history story behind the performance, the dream of great rejuvenation made the students and teachers feel excited. The “whole process, immersive and experiential” art party lecture, taking advantage of the interactive advantages of the new media live broadcast platform, led teachers and students to travel through time and enjoy the magnificent scenery, attracting over 2100 people online to watch simultaneously.
