In order to deeply study the strategic thought of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the Party's self-revolution and the important discourse on the comprehensive and strict governance of the Party, conscientiously implement the spirit of the 12th Party Congress of Hubei Province, further strengthen the publicity and education on the Party's rules and regulations and national supervision laws and regulations, and promote the construction of a clean and honest CUG, according to the arrangement of the publicity and education month for improving the Party conduct and building a clean and honest government of the University, the clean and honest culture publicity and design competition is scheduled to be held from September to October. The competition is sponsored by the Discipline Inspection Commission Office of CUG and organized by the Party Committee of the School of Arts and Communication.

III. Types and Requirements of Works
The types of works collected are 7 categories, including micro video, animation, online text, print advertisements, audio works, campus songs, and online innovative works. The entries should closely follow the theme of the activity, focus on honesty and integrity, and promote the spirit of honesty, integrity and responsibility. The specific requirements are as follows:
1. Micro video works
Requirements: The works are collected according to three categories: documentary record, cartoon and animation, innovation and creativity. The file format should be MP4, with the clear picture, clear sound and subtitles, the length should be no more than 5 minutes (the qualification for evaluation will be cancelled in case of exceeding the time length), and the file size should not exceed 600MB. Each entry is limited to 6 authors, and can be accompanied by 1 instructor.
2. Animation works
Requirements: The types are divided into cartoon works and animated short films. The cartoon works are four grid cartoons (a short story or a creative expression is completed by four frames) or single illustration, and the drawing is based on A4 size (210mm × 297mm) with 2cm blank reserved around the drawing, and the picture should be clear and the number of pages should be marked. New media works based on computer or mobile device should conform to the industry standards for mobile animation and other specifications. The format of submitted electronic pictures shall be JPEG: RGB with a resolution of 100DPI (TIFF files shall be submitted separately after the works are selected). The reading order can be left-to-right or right-to-left according to personal habits, which should be indicated on the first page of the work. The animated short films must be original works in AVI, MOV or MP4 format, with a resolution of at least 1920px×1080px, and within 10 minutes in length in principle. Each entry is limited to 6 authors, and can be accompanied by 1 instructor.
3. Online works
Requirements: The works should be written from the perspective of combating corruption, clean and honest, comments on current events, real cases, etc, including network articles and network literature works. The number of words should not exceed 5,000 and pictures and tables can be provided in the article. Each entry is limited to one author and can be accompanied by one instructor.
4. Print ads
Requirements: the works must be well oriented, rich in connotation and shocking. Print ads include newspaper and magazine ads, poster design, comics, etc. The picture files submitted should be in JPEG format and RGB color mode, with single picture size of less than 10M and no more than 3 works in a series. Each entry is limited to 6 authors, and can be accompanied by 1 instructor.
5. Audio works
Requirements: There is no limit to the genre. Audio reading works such as poetry, prose and stories or creative audio programs (excluding songs) are acceptable. Originality is encouraged. The works should be in MP3 format and should not exceed 5 minutes in length (the qualification for evaluation will be cancelled in case of exceeding the time length), and the audio text should be submitted in Word. Each entry is limited to 5 authors, and can be accompanied by 1 instructor.
6. Campus song works
Requirements: such works are divided into original songs and adapted songs, and the content should fit the theme of the event. Original songs refer to musical works composed entirely on their own, or musical works created by borrowing some (no more than eight bars) of the musical elements of existing works. Adapted songs refer to second creation works that are adapted and innovated from the first performance form of song works. All works can be made into micro video to display, and you can use Internet music or micro video platform to increase network popularity and influence. For original songs, the complete audio or video should be uploaded to E-class (the original lyrics and music score should be uploaded). Each entry is limited to three authors, and may be accompanied by one instructor.
7. Other network innovative works
Requirements: such works include three categories, i.e. long pictures, H5 pages and WeChat tweets. The pictures submitted should be in JPEG format, with a file size of less than 10MB. Each entry is limited to 5 authors, and may be accompanied by one instructor.

V. Selection Instructions
From October 10 to October 15, 2022, the Discipline Inspection Committee Office of the University and the Party Committee of the School of Arts and Communication will organize experts to evaluate and select the outstanding school-level works and outstanding organizational units, and the evaluation results will be commended.
VI. Awards
3 first prizes, money award of RMB 1,000 (no more than 10%); 5 second prizes, money award of RMB 600 (no more than 20%); 10 third prizes, money award of RMB 300. According to the organization of units and the awards wined by their teachers and students, three excellent organizational units will be selected. In addition, the outstanding works selected this time will be displayed in the University.
VII. Submission Method
Please fill in the Works Information Form of Clean and Honest Culture Publicity and Design Competition (Appendix 1), and send it to 1164295633@qq.com together with the electronic file of all relevant materials of the works. VIII. Copyright Requirements
Plagiarism and copy are strictly prohibited in all works. The specific definition of plagiarism and copy is subject to the “Copyright Law of the People's Republic of China” and relevant provisions. The works must be free from copyright disputes, and the participant should confirm that he/she owns the copyright of the work. The s self-nominator or recommender shall be responsible for the copyright and other related matters of the submitted works. The sponsor and the organizer have the rights of information network dissemination, adaptation, compilation and exhibition copyright of the works, but they do not bear the legal liability arising from disputes over the right of portrait, reputation, privacy, copyright and trademark. In case of such disputes, we reserve the right to disqualify them from participation in the call.
