Singing the Great Era with the Voice of CUG

         On August 12, the programs “My Future Is Not a Dream” and “Lonely Warrior” recorded by the Star Choir of School of Arts and Communication of CUG was broadcast for the first time on “Chorus Pioneer” of CCTV 15.

 “Chorus Pioneer” is a singing program created by CCTV Music Channel for the public. The program highlights the concept of “Pioneer”, searches for pioneer choirs, creates pioneer chorus works and promotes the pioneer chorus performance forms.

Before that, the teachers and students of this School overcame the difficulties and made use of their rest time to successfully complete the program rehearsal and recording tasks for more than two months. They performed four songs, including “My Future Is Not a Dream”, “Dew Like a River”, “Lonely Warrior” and “As You wish”, which won the unanimous recognition and appreciation of the University and School leaders as well as the CCTV directors. Two songs were broadcast live this time, and the other two songs will be broadcast in succession.

After the program was broadcast, the students said that they were very proud to see themselves or their classmates on TV, especially on CCTV, the largest stage in China, and their families and friends were also full of praise.
