(Reported by Yao Fengqin, Photo by Chen Ziyang and Yao Fengqin) At 8:30am, teachers and students gathered in front of the gallery. Although it was morning, the air was already flooded with a bit of heat. The students hurriedly ate breakfast, took some steamed buns, and got on the bus with great interest. In front of the bus, there was a teacher who kindly handed out masks to everyone.
After about half an hour's journey, the first batch of people came to NanJinGuan Grand Canyon one after another. We lined up neatly and walked into this beautiful natural scenery one by one.
At first glance, there was a continuous mountain range of verdant green. On a closer look, there were vigorous trees, emeralds, flowers, plants and insects. There are many endless stairs in the canyon. The students picked up the camera, pressed the shutter, and started their journey today with a sound of surprise.
The stairs were really long and painful to the soles of the feet, but the joy from the heart washed away the pain. With the laughter of the students echoing through the deep canyon, we reached a convenient resting point midway.
After a short break, the students regrouped and eventually we stopped before the Red Tears Waterfall for time reasons. On the way back, everyone treaded water, shot lizards, caught butterflies and swung, flashing the rhythm of youth on the way.
After that, we all went back to Baima Camp Sketching Base again by bus and car. After a short lunch to replenish our energy, we started a new day of work. In the cafeteria, in the dormitory, and in the field, students were busy painting. Times flies, it was dusk unconsciously.
At this point, the fifth day of sketching at Baima Camp came to an end, the students were full of harvest, and their faces were filled with joy and vitality. When the sun rises tomorrow, what kind of interesting people and things will there be?
