Recently, it was selected as a national first-class undergraduate program. At 15:00 on June 16, the teaching practice mobilization meeting for Grade 2020 of the Program of Radio and Television was successfully held in Room 1104 of the Building of School of Arts and Communication. Practice instructors Wang Dayuan, Yu Jijun, Wu Hao, Liu Dingyao and all the students of Grade 2020 majoring in Radio and Television attended the practice mobilization meeting.

In order to improve the effect of practice mobilization, the practice instructor specially invited Jiang Wenjian and Hao Wenzhu, the outstanding seniors of Grade 2019 majoring in radio and television, to share their experience.

She firstly introduced the main practice process Grade 2019 in last year, including practice, off-campus practice and post-production, and showed the participants the report of their group's selected topics for last year's practice, providing many valuable suggestions.
After the introduction, Hao Wenzhu answered the question raised by Cai Yuchao about the shooting plan: “Did you go ahead and communicate with the people you interviewed or were the interviews impromptu?” She also emphasized, “Time management is important during the practice.”

Jiang Weijian mainly introduced the video production process. As soon as he got on the podium, the aura changed!
“Make some sound!” Jiang Weijian explained from three aspects, including preliminary preparation, mid-term photography and post editing. Based on his own creation practice, Jiang Weijian introduced the composition of the team and the division of labor of each member. His explanation of the script was full of practical information.
Based on Jiang Weijian's explanation, Mr. Liu Dingyao put forward suggestions to everyone, “We can't do it in such detail, but take his script as an example and improve it according to our own conditions, and we will get a good script.” Mr. Wang Dayuan said, "Very good!" Mr. Wu Hao discussed with Mr. Jiang Weijian about whether the professional script could be presented by hand drawing.

“At the beginning of the establishment of the Program of Radio and Television, we learned from the school running experience of Beijing Open University, Peking University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Wuhan University, combined with the reality of our university, paid equal attention to both theory and practice, with special emphasis on practical teaching, and implemented the four-year continuous practice.” Mr. Yu Jijun said.
After the experience sharing of the seniors, Mr. Yu Jijun introduced in detail the arrangements, purposes and requirements of the teaching practice, and gave advices on the overall planning, encouraging the students to broaden their ideas on the selection of topics and to make a practical practice plan as soon as possible for further communication and discussion.
Mr. Liu Dingyao gave a detailed explanation about the use of equipment and practice funds.
The four instructors especially emphasized the safety and discipline during practice, hoping that everyone would put their feet on the ground, pay attention to safety and complete this teaching practice with quality and quantity.
Since the launch of teaching practice in 2003, the professional practice teaching of the program of radio and television has been progressing step by step: cognitive practice in the first year, teaching practice in the second year, and graduation practice in the fourth year.
This teaching practice, mainly including four stages of practice preparation, field practice, post production and work exchange and performance evaluation, will start from June 16 and finish on September 1 upon the completion of work exchange and performance evaluation, and it will be in Wuhan and other places.
