Faculty Party Branches of Our School Carried Out Theme Party Day Activities in May

(Reported by Chen Xiliang) On the afternoon of May 26, the five faculty Party branches of our School carried out party theme day activities with the theme of learning and implementing the spirit of the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping during his visit to Renmin University of China and learning the spirit of the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping at the conference celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League of China.

According to the requirements of the “Notice on Carrying out the Branch Theme Party Day Activities in May 2022”, each faculty branch, in combination with the actual situation of the branch, carried out centralized learning through watching videos, free speech discussion, political birthday and other ways.

All party members reviewed in detail the research process of General Secretary Xi Jinping at Renmin University of China through the video, and focused on the comments and expectations of General Secretary Xi Jinping on smart classroom and ideological and political theories teaching in all courses.  The teachers said that they should adhere to the leadership of the Party, adhere to the guiding position of Marxism, adhere to the service for the cause of the Party and the people, continuously promote the reform and innovation of the ideological and political theories teaching in all courses, cultivate the concept of "four self-confidence" in the teaching process based on the teaching content of each major, and firmly follow the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics. After learning the spirit of the important speech on the centennial of the founding of the league, teachers have expressed that in the new journey, as educators, they should be awake to the fact that the Communist Party of China is determined to make a great cause for the Chinese nation, and must always represent the majority of youth, win the majority of youth, rely on the majority of youth, do a good job of youth work with great strength, and ensure that the cause of the Party is passed on from generation to generation, and lead young students to take up the historical responsibility entrusted to them by the Party and the people, to advance with vigor and perseverance, to stir up the surging spring tide of national rejuvenation with the energy and creativity of youth, and to fight for a better China with the wisdom and sweat of youth!

Finally, the arrangement was made in combination with the recent normal epidemic prevention and control in the University. All Party branches will orderly arrange party member teachers to participate in the volunteer service of nucleic acid testing in the University, give full play to the exemplary leading role of Party members, and work together to guard the safety of the campus.
