Teachers and Students of the School of Arts and Communication Watched the Live Broadcast of the Conference Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Youth League of China

On the morning of May 10, 2022, a grand meeting to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League of China was held in the Great Hall of the People. Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, Chinese President and Chairman of the CPC Central Military Commission, attended the conference and delivered an important speech. Guo Xiurong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Arts and Communication, Bian Jianhua, Deputy Secretary of the Party committee, counselors Chen Xiliang and Zeng Gehui, part-time counselors, and student leaders of the student union, Graduate Union and Party Building Office watched the live broadcast of the Conference Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League of China in conference room 1209 of the building of the School.

The General Secretary Xi Jinping delivered an important speech, which comprehensively reviewed the youth course of the Communist Youth League in the past 100 years, fully affirmed the important contribution made by the Communist Youth League by uniting and leading generations of youth members to realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation under the leadership of the Party, profoundly expounded the historical experience of the Communist Youth League and youth work, placed ardent expectations on contemporary youth, and put forward clear requirements for doing well the work of the Communist Youth League in the new era.

We will unite more closely around the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core and take Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era as the guide. We must be deeply conscious of the need to maintain political integrity, think in big-picture terms, follow the leadership core, and keep in alignment with the central Party leadership. We must stay confident in the path, theory, system, and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics. We must uphold the core position of the General Secretary on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole, and uphold the Central Committee’s authority and its centralized, unified leadership.
