(Reported by Zhou Hua) Recently, the Publicity Department of Hubei Provincial Party Committee announced the list of projects supported by the Special Fund for the Publication of Public Academic Books of Hubei Province in 2021, and the book "Looking for Ancient Plants—Those Lives That Once Existed" written by Ha Da, a teacher of our School, was funded. The book explains the basic scientific knowledge related to geology, paleobotany and field fossil collection and the visual restoration and knowledge of ancient plants, connects the basic knowledge of paleobotany with the actual research process and scene with a series of specific research ideas, and interprets the scientific knowledge and research thinking of paleobotany through detailed and substantial diagrams and scientific, rigorous and easy-to-understand text, thus achieving the purpose of scientific research and knowledge popularization of paleobotany.
