At the beginning of the meeting, Liu Conggui, chief of the Fire Protection Section of the Safety and Security Department of the university, started the training on fire safety knowledge with the theme of "Pay attention to fire and cherish life" for all the staff of our school. He introduced in detail the serious consequences of a fire, for example, a fire can burn a house to ashes in just 40 seconds, and then also gave many vivid cases to emphasize the importance and necessity of mastering the skills of using fire extinguishers.
After the fire safety knowledge training session, Section Chief Liu went outdoors with everyone and demonstrate the process of operating fire extinguishers.
Then, Bian Jianhua, deputy secretary of the Party committee of the school, reported on the current student employment promotion in our school. Secretary Bian introduced that up to now, the employment rate of graduates in 2021 is 89.90%, including 91.06% for undergraduates and 87.78% for postgraduates; the current employment rate of graduates in 2022 is 16.32%, including 16.95% for undergraduates and 15.43% for postgraduates. At the same time, Secretary Bian put forward specific implementation plans for the next step of the promotion work in the light of the current employment situation of graduates, including: improving the employment mechanism and promoting the implementation of detailed employment for all staff; doing a good job of employment mobilization and guiding policy-oriented employment; further implementing the "one job-hunting and two promotion" and implementing the plan of graduation internship for employment; and doing three "precise" to improve employment services and guarantee employment support.
