Firstly, Deputy Director Peng Guanjun of Department of Security Guard introduced the personnel who participated in the briefing on the comprehensive safety inspection. Then, Yang Zhongqiu, the section chief of Public Security Section II, notified the special fire-protection inspection in this School and the public security situation in recent years. Section Chief Yang pointed out that there were some problems in the Arts & Communication Building, such as passageway blockage, fire doors closedown, goods piling at the entrance of the hall on the first floor and high power of the lights in the concert hall. In addition, so far there was only one theft case in this School and the anti-fraud situation had been improved compared with last year's four fraud cases (two criminal cases and two public security cases). At the same time, the registration rate and examination rate of anti-fraud micro-courses for freshmen in Grade 2021 were both 100%, and that of the incoming postgraduates was 98.72%. The overall learning situation was good.
Teacher Luo Wen Chao, a fire officer in Fire Protection Section, notified the daily inspection of fire safety hazards in this School and the fire situation in recent years. Teacher Luo affirmed the overall safety work of this School, which was featured in complete fire control system, perfect safety operation flow, good fire control equipment, and specific management responsibility of passageways. After that, Wei Jingming, Section Chief of Public Security Section I, reported the fraud cases in this School and the related learning situation of anti-fraud. Considering there were so many women students in this School, he proposed to give an special educational lecture on women students' self-protection. At the same time, Section Chief Wei once again reminded us to complete the download of the national anti-fraud app and the learning of security micro-courses as soon as possible.
After the briefing, Deputy President Yuan Yue reported the recent safety work in this School. At present, a special working group had been established in this School, and on November 9, the hidden safety dangers of the labs were investigated. The cracks on the wall of the concert hall were being repaired, and the repair and purchase items of high-power lights of the concert hall was in progress. Bian Jianhua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of this School, also gave a report on the safety education for the students. Deputy Secretary Bian introduced that this School had been persisting in weekly bed check by counselors, safety inspection on holidays, publicity of safety education knowledge in WeChat official account, and safety issues at every meeting. At the same time, he planed to carry out the special education for all girls in the next semester.
At the end of the meeting, Secretary Guo made a concluding speech. She said that the relevant security problems existing in this School would be rectified as soon as possible, relevant equipment would be equipped as soon as possible, the security micro-class would be completed as much as possible by the unfinished students.
