President Lai first went to the offices directly under the school to cordially comfort the administrative staff, asked about the work situation one by one, checked the office environment, and extended holiday greetings to the teachers. Then, in the conference room, he listened to the reports of the members of the school leadership on the faculty, discipline construction, undergraduate and postgraduate education and teaching, scientific research, laboratory construction, aesthetic education and student affairs. He listened carefully to everyone’s opinions and suggestions, carefully understood the achievements made by the school and the problems to be solved urgently in the development, such as the shortage of teachers, unreasonable structure of teachers, strengthening the construction of scientific research platform, etc., and communicated and exchanged the relevant suggestions and problems mentioned by the school, and said that the University would continue to support all the work of the school. He also put forward specific guiding opinions on the faculty construction and talent training.
