(Reported by Xiang Muchun and Zeng Gehui) On the morning of April 16, 2021, School of Arts and Communication actively responded to the call and launched a campaign on Party history learning and education in the lecture hall of this School. All Party members of the faculty members in this School attended the meeting, which was presided over by Wu Renxi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee. Guo Xiurong, the Secretary of the Party Committee launched the campaign on Party history learning and education.
First of all, Secretary Guo led them to study the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech at the National Campaign on Party History Learning and Education from three aspects: why and how and requirements. Then, Secretary Guo passed on CUG’s spirit of the campaign on Party history learning and education to the present Party member. Finally, Secretary Guo arranged the key tasks of Party history learning and education of the Party Committee of this School, introduced the main contents of List of Activities for Accelerating Party History Learning and Education and Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China, and asked all Party members to effectively improve their political stance, and all Party branches should further clarify their work objectives and tasks. She stressed that Party history learning and education was an important decision-making made by the Party Central Committee in response to the "time" and the "potential", and it was also an important opportunity for this School to gather together and start. All party branches should strictly comply with the standards and the benchmark in the learning and education, implement the requirements on “precision”, carefully organize and arrange, and implement the "practical" style.
So far, “Studying Party History, Understanding Original Aspiration and Promoting Development”---the campaign on Party History Learning and Education was successfully concluded.
